Energy transition with Renault Trucks and Thermo King
As the year draws to a close, DELANCHY continues to develop new energy sources to reduce its environmental impact and CO2 emissions.
The programme includes a fleet of 100% electric trucks, which continues to grow with new deliveries of 16-tonne Renault Trucks E-Tech vehicles and the first integration of a semi-trailer equipped with an E-Axle Power generator developed by Thermo King.

Renault Trucks E-Tech
This December, DELANCHY is putting five new 100% electric Renault Trucks E-Tech trucks into service.
These models have a capacity of 16 tonnes with a battery configuration offering up to 200 kilometres of range.
The ideal tool for urban and suburban deliveries.

Thermo King E-Axle Power
During deceleration, slowing down or descents, the generator installed on the axle produces electricity, which is stored in the battery pack and then used to power the trailer’s refrigeration unit.
Although the system has already been in operation in several European countries for two years, it has only been approved in France since 2025.
With this first model, DELANCHY is experimenting before deciding whether or not to extend the technology to its semi-trailers.
